To receive safe and secure medical services

At our hospital, all staff are endeavoring to provide safe and secure medical services.
We would like to ask patients and their families to proactively participate in efforts to prevent medical accidents. We ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Preventing wrong-patient errors

  1. Put on a wrist band (you will be asked to put one on at the time of admission).
  2. State your full name.
    - We will confirm your name before performing a procedure, test, etc.
    - We may also confirm your date of birth.

Ensuring correct treatment

Before starting or changing injection, drip infusion, etc., the physician or nurse will provide explanation.
Confirm the details of treatment together with the staff before implementation. Ask our staff whenever you have a question, such as "What is this drug for?"

Physical restrictions

Physical restraints and other physical restrictions may be requested only if otherwise it is difficult to perform treatment or guarantee safety during treatment, with consent from the patient and family, following adequate explanation from the physician and nurses.
The explanation and informed consent process may be undertaken following medical procedures in the case of emergency.

Infection control measures

Appropriate infection prevention measures are necessary to minimize the risk of infection and ensure safe medical care during hospitalization.
Please follow the instructions below.
  1. Please wear a non-woven mask while in hospital.
  2. Wash and sanitize your hands properly.

Prevention of fall / tumble

During hospitalization, patients need to stay in a hospital environment that differs from their home where they have lived.
This environmental change is combined with declined physical strength and compromised motor function due to disease or injury, increasing the risk of fall and injury.
To reduce fall risk during hospitalization, your cooperation is requested in the following points.
  1. If you often stumble or tumble in usual life, report so at the time of admission.
We will ensure careful observation and use tools that suit you.
  2. For patients who are at high risk of falling, we may ask family members to accompany them.
  3. When you stand up, do not hold on to a movable object (such as an over-bed table, drip stand) for support.
  4. Slippers and sandals are prohibited. During hospitalization, use shoes that you are used to (such as sneakers and rehabilitation shoes). If you have no shoes that you are used to, you can buy a pair at the kiosk in our hospital.

These shoes are recommended during hospitalization.
