Nighttime and holidays Emergency Medical Care

Regarding emergency medical treatment at our hospital on holidays and at night.

We have been designated as a hospital for secondary emergency care by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
We have also participated in the Tokyo Rules for Emergency Medical Care since their implementation in the Southwestern ward areas of Tokyo in 2009, aimed at facilitating the efficient acceptance of emergency patients.

We provide emergency medical treatment at night and holidays

  • At the Emergency Room, treatment is prioritized according to the severity of the illness.
    As a result, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, such as delays in the order of consultations and longer waiting times.
  • Only limited tests can be performed on holidays and at night.
  • As a general rule, our hospital prescribes only the prescribe the minimum amount of medication necessary.
  • The doctors who consult you on holidays and at night may not necessarily be the specialist you requested. However, in the event of an emergency, we will contact a specialist and respond under their instructions.
  • Images and test results are later reviewed by the specialized doctors.
  • Our hospital does not provide pediatric, ENT, and ophthalmology treatment on holidays and at night.

    ※ On the weekdays, the Emergency Department accepts only patients transported by ambulance or seriously ill who are severe difficult to receive treatment at the outpatient departments.
    ※ You may be referred to another medical institution depending on the situation and / or your condition.
